Venue: Lambeau Field | Start: 11:15am AEDT

Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur seem to be living in winning harmony with the Green Bay Packers, where the presence of a No. 1 running back has made life easier for all involved in the first year of LaFleur’s run as head coach. Aaron Jones gouged the Dallas Cowboys for four TDs and 182 yards from scrimmage in Week 5, and the visitors to Lambeau Field this week rank 25th against the run. The Detroit Lions spent heavily to restock their defense and have semi-truck-sized nose tackle Damon Harrison to clog inside lanes. Harrison was hobbled early in the week but is expected to be ready for the primetime affair. Teams that swarm Jones on cutbacks have been most successful slowing Rodgers and LaFleur. Head coach Matt Patricia has said the Lions don’t want to get into a shootout. Coming off its bye week, Detroit also wants to lead with the running game and second-year back Kerryon Johnson. Matthew Stafford could be hot-stepping his way through the pocket against Green Bay’s edge rushers if Johnson can’t get rolling. Rookie tight end T.J. Hockenson would help, but he’s not a sure thing to play after a Week 4 concussion.
