Rosehill Race 1 Tips | 11:50 AM | 1550m

Top Tip – LEG WORK (13)

Jockey: Kerrin McEvoy | Trainer: Danny Williams

Slashing victory on a heavy track at Wagga over 1300m on May 1 when he stormed home to win running away. Looks to have plenty of upsides and has a quality hoop in the saddle.

Place Tip – WITHOUT RISK (7)

Jockey: Tim Clark | Trainer: Matthew Dunn

Lightly-raced 5yo mare who is racing consistently. Ran home nicely (11th at 400m) for second behind Cubix in soft ground at Ballina before a solid fifth to Luvyoulongtime at Grafton 1400m on April 20. Will be getting home here.

Place Tip – LUNA MIA (4)

Jockey: Nash Rawiller | Trainer: Paul Messara

Well-bred 4-yo from the powerful Messara stable who makes plenty of appeals here. In the money, six of his 12 starts and could well appreciate the step up in distances here after an even 7th of 12 to Tejori over 1200m at Randwick on May 9. Nice type.

Value Bet –  SHELBY SIXTYSIX (2)

Jockey: Brenton Avdulla | Trainer: Danny Williams

Goulburn trained 3-yo with two wins and two seconds from his four outings to date. Can handle all types of going and looked very good in coming away for easy win Wagga 1200m heavy 9 track on May 1. Should be powering home here.

Rosehill Race 2 Tips | 12:10 AM | 2400m

Top Tip – COSTELLO (2)

Jockey: Nash Rawiller | Trainer: David Payne

Right jockey, right trainer, right barrier. Has his share of weight but should get a nice run in transit. Distance is the biggest query but he has been placed at the 2400m and his breeding suggests he should get the trip. Ran a good third over this trip in September with 58kgs.

Jockey: Hugh Bowman | Trainer: Maher and Eustace

Very honest and the trip poses no worries with a win and three placings over the 2400m. Wide barrier, not a problem and with Bowman holding the reins will be well placed to win in the run. Last start second in the Terang Cup 2150m was an ideal lead up.

Place Tip – TERWILLIKER (7)

Jockey: Tommy Berry | Trainer: Anthony Cummings

Has a win and four placings over 2400 which keeps him well under notice. Narrowly beaten in 3rd place in busy finish Warwick Farm 2400m last start.

Jockey: James McDonald | Trainer: Chris Waller

Likes Rosehill and the 2400m and had James McDonald in the saddle. Is a four-time winner. Value.

Rosehill Race 3 Tips | 12:45 PM | 1100m

Top Tip – MACROURA (1)

Jockey: James McDonald | Trainer: Ciaron Maher

Speedy Snitzel filly shooting for a hat-trick after wins at Kembla and last start at Randwick both over 1000m. Up in weight but the inside alley will help her cause.

Place Tip – ZEFTAROOK (4)

Jockey: High Bowman | Trainer: Kris Lees

Will be one of the leaders and looked smart in winning the Wellington Boot on a heavy track earlier this month after winning the Muswellbrook Starmaker in stylish fashion in March. Nice barrier trial at Gosford recently.

Place Tip – NEWSREADER (5)

Jockey: Brenton Avdulla | Trainer: John O’Shea

Press Statement filly who caught the eye finishing late for 3rd Macroura 100m R’wick May 2. Got out of her ground early but reeled off some nice sectionals. Will be improved an extra 100m suits.

Jockey: Glen Boss | Trainer: Maher & Eustace

Had some support at debut when an even 4th to Marboosha Muswellbrook 1000m last month. Could be an improver at juicy odds with Boss on board.

Rosehill Race 4 Tips | 1:20 PM | 1400m

Jockey: Tommy Perry | Trainer: Michael Wayne and John Hawkes

Earmarked for better things and will take a power of beating. Completed the hat-trick with easy win Randwick 1200m being eased down at the finish. Will eat up the extra 200m and should make it 4 from 5 wins.

Place Tip – DAWN PASSAGE (4)

Jockey: Adam Hyeronimus | Trainer: Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott

Has a ton of ability and if Masked Crusader puts of a foot wrong will test him. Swooped hope with a powerful finish to win over this course and distance last start beating St Covet’s Spirit by 2.8 lengths. Don’t underestimate.

Place Tip – BANDERSNATCH (3)

Jockey: Brenton Avdulla | Trainer: Gerald Ryan

Looks possible leader and could dictate the tempo if left alone. Had good backing when resuming last week and only beaten 1.7 lengths when 4th to Phaistos in a tight finish.

Value Bet – TRUE DETECTIVE (1)

Jockey: James McDonald | Trainer: Chris Waller

Races well here and have the advantage of the rails. Will get a nice run and only nailed on the line last start.

Rosehill Race 5 Tips | 1:55 AM | 1100m

Top Tip – ADELONG (5)

Jockey: James McDonald | Trainer: Brad Widdup

Not finished further back than second in five career starts and has a big finish. Followed stylish win at Hawkesbury with a solid second Canterbury 1100m on April 22. Looks perfectly placed here.

Place Tip – BURNING CROWN (11)

Jockey: Joshua Parr | Trainer: Rod Northam

A very honest performer who was not beaten far in the tight finish when 3rd to Dirty Work and Randwick Kenso track May 2. Didn’t have a lot of room in the straight but kept boxing on. Chance.

Place Tip – LASHES (2)

Jockey: Kerrin McEvoy | Trainer: Matthew Smith

Has a victory over Adelong and four wins over this distance to recommend her here. Likely to get a sweet run from her lovely gate. Makes a lot of appeals here with McEvoy in the pigskin. Big threat.

Value Bet – L’COSMO (9)

Jockey: Tim Clark | Trainer: P&P Snowden

Professional placegetter with a 90 per cent place strike rate. Nothing wrong with finishing second to the very smart Fituese in town the last start. Will there about.

Rosehill Race 6 Tips | 2:35 AM | 1300m

Top Tip – RANIER (8)

Jockey: Hugh Bowman | Trainer: James Cummings

Weaved through the field from last to score in the very last stride to beat subsequent city winner Faistos over 1400m at Randwick on April 14. Barrier trialled since and while he will need a bit of luck will be finishing hard.

Place Tip – GRAFF (5)

Jockey: Kerrin McEvoy | Trainer: Kris Lees

Quality Star Witness 4-yo who will take some beating. Returned to racing with a nice 4th to Tactical Advantage Rosehill 1100m running the last 600m in 33.7. Much better suited this trip. Keep safe.

Jockey: Sam Clipperton | Trainer: R&M Freedman

Should secure a cosy run from the rails alley and has had a series of barrier trials to get him ready. Not the worst by a long way.

Value Bet – BRAVE SONG (10)

Jockey: James McDonald | Trainer: P & P Snowden

In the top stable and a winner of 6 of 25 starts. Ran second in R’wick Barrier trial on May 5 when not pushed out by Tommy Berry. Had been racing in a strong class and look suitably placed here after freshen up.

Rosehill Race 7 Tips | 3:15 PM | 1100m

Top Tip – FITUESE (3)

Jockey: Rachel King | Trainer: John Thompson

Could be one out of the box judging by her stylish high-speed win at Kensington track on May 2 when she destroyed her rivals with sheer speed. Failed second-up last campaign.

Jockey: Brenton Avdulla | Trainer: P & P Snowden

Favourably drawn and is 2 from 5 over 1100m. Sure to get a charmed run off the inside marble and looks a genuine threat.

Place Tip – MILITARY MAGIC (13)

Jockey: James McDonald | Trainer: P & P Snowden

Winner three of only 4 starts and placed third on the other outing. Runner-up to All Cylinders in a recent Randwick trial over 742m. Won twice and Kembla at over 1250m at Canterbury last November before spelling. Has ability.

Value Bet – ENFLEURAGE (11)

Jockey: Hugh Bowman | Trainer: James Cummings

Good combination Bowman and this Cummings and Exceed and Excel filly is a three-time winner who raced in good company before being sent for a spell. Watch betting.

Rosehill Race 8 Tips | 3:55 PM | 1400m

Jockey: Glen Boss | Trainer: Chris Waller

Will need some luck in this big field but she motored home the last start to win over this course and distance and no reason why she can repeat that effort with 1.5kg more. Has the Bossman on board.

Place Tip – TELEPLAY (18)

Jockey: Nash Rawiller | Trainer: M Price & M Kent

Has a wide alley but also has one of the best horsemen in the country in the saddle. Will no doubt need her share of luck but a cold ride by Nash could see her sailing home late.

Place Tip – IRITHEA (20)

Jockey: Joshua Par | Trainer: Bjorn Baker

Has drawn in the car park and Parr will need a lot of luck to fall his way. She is unbeaten in two starts over this course and not disgraced the last start with 4th to Sweet Scandal in similar type race. Give thought.

Value Bet – AMANGIRI (8)

Jockey: Tommy Berry | Trainer: Michael Wayne & John Hawkes

There was a lot to like about her victory on the Hawkesbury Cup here over 1500m on April 24. Won the Emancipation Stakes here over 1500m in March and likes this layout. Strong chance.

Rosehill Race 9 Tips | 4:35 PM | 1100m

Top Tip – VILLAMI (3)

Jockey: Tim Clark | Trainer: Gerald Ryan

Nicely drawn in a tough final race. This looks a nice race after going down narrowly to Tactical Advantage in a similar race over this course on April 25. Has to speed to be handy throughout.

Place Tip – BON AMIS (2)

Jockey: High Bowman | Trainer: Jason Deamer

Has a touch of class and her record in these type of races is outstanding. Winner 5 of 9 over Rosehill 1100m and this is her pet journey. Will be thereabouts.

Place Tip – Soothing (10)

Jockey: James McDonald | Trainer: James Cummings

Well up to this and five-time winner over the 1100m trip. James McDonald is a big bonus and was a big winner at Flemington over 1000m beating Ball of Muscle last November. Don’t underestimate.

Value Bet – GOD OF THUNDER (7)

Jockey: Brenton Avdulla | Trainer: Michael Wayne and John Hawkes

Goes well here with two wins over the 1400m course which puts him under notice with a clear run from his nice alley. Each way shot.
