Rosehill Race 1 Tips | 11:30 AM | 1100m

Top Tip – ANDERS (1)

Jockey: James McDonald | Trainer: Ciaron Maher & David Eustace

Impressed at Wyong May 14 when led and won by a margin giving nothing a chance over this trip. One that’s on the up and getting the services of top hoop McDonald.

Place Tip – ANDERMATT (3)

Jockey: Hugh Bowman | Trainer: James Cummings

Scored a last to first win on debut at Kembla Grange May 7 1000m in good style, Looks suited by the step up to 1100m and Bowman happy to take the ride. Look for it late.

Top 4 Tip – PROUD MIA (11)

Jockey: Louise Day (a,3) | Trainer: Nick Olive

Was odds on at Queanbeyan debut 900m May 17 when led easily and drew clear late winning with something in hand. Up 200m in distance here but has a light weight on its back after the claim and can give this a shake.

Rosehill Race 2 Tips | 12:05 PM | 1400m

Top Tip – LEG WORK (6)

Jockey: Kerrin McEvoy | Trainer: Danny Williams

Eased out early from a wide draw and made a late charge near the fence when placed Rosehill May 16. Likely to have to run to a similar pattern here but McEvoy sticks and suitable field here.

Place Tip – READY TO HUMBLE (2)

Jockey: Hugh Bowman | Trainer: Matthew Dunn

Led and narrow beaten 1200m Randwick May 9. Did have its chance and not bred to get much further but Bowman a fine engagement and can get a gun run from barrier three.

Top 4 Tip – DEEPWOOD VALE (9)

Jockey: James McDonald | Trainer: Paul Messara

Dropped to the tail and closed late though unplaced first up at Scone May 15. Well bred filly having its first try on wet ground. Is a second up winner. Step up to 1400m suits, Go well if it handles the wet.

Rosehill Race 3 Tips | 12:40 PM | 1200m

Top Tip – MO’S CROWN (2)

Jockey: James McDonald | Trainer: Jason Coyle

Was trapped wide without cover and did a decent job to finish where it did May 9 Randwick 1200m. Good draw here and likes wet ground and has won with more weight in the past. Give it a shake.

Place Tip – BRING THE RANSOM (8)

Jockey: Hugh Bowman | Trainer: Bjorn Baker

Dragged back early and okay late though never a winning chance May 16 Rosehill on a track rated good. Gets on a wet track here which suits. Drawn wide again and likely to settle back but is powerful and a decent chance at odds.

Top 4 Tip – SALLY’S DAY (9)

Jockey: Rachel King | Trainer: Gerald Ryan

Was doing its best work late when placed in the Listed Denises Joy Rosehill May 16 and can settle up closer from a good draw here. First try at 1200m but giving the right impression of running it out well.

Rosehill Race 4 Tips | 1:15 PM | 1500m

Top Tip – SURE KNEE (2)

Jockey: James McDonald | Trainer: Chris Waller

Was out the back early and blocked for room all the way up the straight in first up flop Gr3 Dark Jewel Rosehill May 16. Fitter and is a second up winner and handles wet ground.

Place Tip – ACROSS DUBAI (6)

Jockey: Hugh Bowman | Trainer: Chris Waller

UK import having its first start in Australia. Has a winning distance range from 1400m to 2100m. Bowman has ridden it in two trials and happy to stay on race day. Long odds but wouldn’t sell short.

Top 4 Tip – SOLDIER OF LOVE (11)

Jockey: Rachel King | Trainer: Bjorn Baker

Has been good at two runs from a break including a workmanlike win Randwick May 9. Dropps in weight on that. Handles wet ground and drawn to settle up close. Should be peak fitness now.

Rosehill Race 5 Tips | 1:55 PM | 1200m

Top Tip – ESPERANCE (5)

Jockey: Hugh Bowman | Trainer: James Cummings

Settled back in the field and finished well when placed at Caulfield May 9 on a heavy track. Step up to 1200m can suit and drawn to get a nice smother here and finish off strongly.

Place Tip – SANDBAR (2)

Jockey: Chris Williams (a,2) | Trainer: Brad Widdup

Hasn’t raced since December but goes well first up and handles big weights well and helped here by the apprentice claim. Likely to settle midfield and take its chances from there.

Top 4 Tip – FITUESE (8)

Jockey: Rachel King | Trainer: John Thompson

Well backed and got the money in Gr3 Denises Joy Rosehill May 16 1100m. Two good wins since coming back from a break but yet to run on a really wet track or win at 1200m.

Rosehill Race 6 Tips | 2:30 PM | 1400m

Top Tip – MISS EINSTEIN (6)

Jockey: Jason Collett | Trainer: Bjorn Baker

Looked a winning chance in a three way finish when chopped out near the line Randwick May 9 then got close Randwick May 23. Backing up a week later. Knocking on the door. No problems with a wet track.

Place Tip – RIVA CAPRI (9)

Jockey: James McDonald | Trainer: Kris Lees

Finished hard but narrowly missed Kensington May 20 under 61kg. Better field here but down in weight and proven on heavy ground if that happens to prevail. McDonald on and should be respected.

Top 4 Tip – BOUND TO WIN (11)

Jockey: Tommy Berry | Trainer: Peter & Paul Snowden

Had blinkers applied and an impressive winner Warwick Farm May 13. Yet to hit a significantly wet track and that’s the query but on the up and wouldn’t sell short in this one.

Rosehill Race 7 Tips | 3:10 PM | 2000m

Top Tip – SIXTIES GROOVE (1)

Jockey: Hugh Bowman | Trainer: Kris Lees

Was first up when midfield throughout at Scone May 15 1600m but chopped out half way up the straight and should have finished closer. Step up to 2000m suits better, Good second up record. Okay in the wet and has won with 60kg.

Place Tip – DR DRILL (4)

Jockey: Jason Collett | Trainer: Ciaron Maher & David Eustace

Hit the line in determined fashion when won at Scone May 15 1600m. Flattened out late and step up to 2000m suits and won at its lone Rosehill start. Handles wet ground and one of the bets chances.

Top 4 Tip – BIG DUKE (3)

Jockey: Nash Rawiller | Trainer: Kris Less

Resuming. Is first up at 2000m here which is a task but loves wet ground and Rosehill and has won first up in the past. Likely to be long odds but loses nothing with Rawiller on and well worth including.

Rosehill Race 8 Tips | 3:50 PM | 1300m

Top Tip – STARSPANGLED RODEO (5)

Jockey: Jason Collett | Trainer: Bjorn Baker

Settled behind the leaders and a narrow first up win Canterbury May 6. Drawn to get a gun run again. Handles wet ground. Rarely missed a place in its career and is a second up winner. Worth including.

Place Tip – JUVENTUS (3)

Jockey: Hugh Bowman | Trainer: Kris Less

Loomed up but couldn’t quite finish it off Kensington May 2. Drops back to 1300m here. Was still good and Bowman sticks but won’t want the ground to be bottomless wet. Drawn to get a nice smother and finish off strongly here.

Top 4 Tip – SAKURA (10)

Jockey: Tommy Berry | Trainer: James Cummings

Settled midfield finished off well when placed Kensington May2 at 1200m. Was outsprinted late and the step up to 1400m looks more suitable. Has won with 59kg. Needs a good ride from a wide draw.

Rosehill Race 9 Tips | 4:30 PM | 1100m

Top Tip – ADELONG (6)

Jockey: Hugh Bowman | Trainer: Brad Widdup

Was always traveling well first up when won Rosehill May 16 over this trip. Yet to finish outside the top two placings and drawn well here. Yet to race on a significantly wet track. Must respect.

Place Tip – I AM A COOL KID (9)

Jockey: Adam Hyeronimus | Trainer: Gayna Williams

Has been freshened up for this. Yet to finish further back than second. Hasn’t raced on a significantly wet track. Keeps answering the challenges and well worth including.

Top 4 Tip – SUPERIIM (3)

Jockey: James McDonald | Trainer: Joseph Pride

Resuming. Has won two of three first up starts and all its wins have been at 1100m. Virtually untried in the wet but McDonald aboard will help and must be kept safe.
