Belmont Race 1 Tips | 11:53 PM | 2200m

Top Tip – Freeze’moff

Jockey: Ms Kyra Hull | Trainer: Graeme Hammarquist

Small fields can often be tricky because tactics can play a part but it is hard not to see Freeze’em off not greeting the judge again first. From the inside alley Kyra Hull should pop this five-year-old mare into the box seat and she should be too good when the whips are cracking. Strolled home at her last start this course and distance on May 23 for third win in past four states.

Place Tip – Utgard Lotki

Jockey: Lucy Warwick | Trainer: Justin Warwick

Tracked Freeze’moff home over this course and distance on May 23 appearing to have very chance. Racing very consistently and gets a slight weight advantage. Will sit close to the lead and will be in the finish again in small field.

Top 4 Tip – Touch of Silver

Jockey: Jade McNaught | Trainer: Adam Durant

Get some weight relief for Jade McNaught and has solid form to cause an upset. Ran third to Freeze’moff and Utgard Ltki over this course last when had every chance. Is a winner of 10 races.

Belmont Race 2 Tips | 12:33 PM | 1200m

Top Tip – Western Rhythm

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Brock Lewthaite

Has awkward alley to deal with but looked good in trial win under Pike. Nicely bred filly who looks forward enough to run a good race at debut.

Place Tip – Mr Delegator

Jockey: Peter Knucky | Trainer: Tianna Robertson

Looks above average and will be tough to beat after second to smart youngster Cliffs of Comfort (Giant Leap was third) Bunbury 1200m 3YO on March 4. That is good enough to win this.

Top 4 Tip – Alien From Mars

Jockey: Jarrad Noske | Trainer: Bob Turrell

Has been around the money and could surprise with even luck in running. Stays under notice after 4th in Belmont Maiden behind Smart Princess over 100m on May 14.

Belmont Race 3 Tips | 1:13 PM | 1200m

Top Tip – Nobelity

Jockey: Jason Whiting | Trainer: S Wallace

Tough race to assess with so many first starters. We’ve settled on Nobelity who has some experience having chased home smart youngster Dunbar after setting the pace Pinjarra 1200m Mdn May 20. Further improved here from good alley.

Place Tip – Reign Of Fire

Jockey: Jordan Turner | Trainer: C H Webster

Inexpensive two-year-old who displays potential and could repay his purchase price of $18000 with a first up win here. Impressive Belmont trial winner May 26 and looks promising. Has pace and if he leads he could take some running down.

Top 4 Tip – Snickerdoodledandy

Jockey: Chris Parnham | Trainer: Daniel Morton

I could not let a name like this go by so in a tough race I have thrown Snickerdoodledandy into the mix. Is a trial winner in a difficult race so this Snitzel filly has some claims.

Belmont Race 4 Tips | 1:53 PM | 1000m

Top Tip – La Vina

Jockey: Ms Lucy Warwick | Trainer: Lindsey Smith

La Vina has a touch of class and resumes here. Won Ascot Mdn 1200m from Jaguar Grey Ascot 1400m March 18 before eye-catching 4th to Angelic Ruler in Ascot 1400m March 25 in much stronger race. Prefer if it was a bit longer but will be rattling home at the finish.

Place Tip – Ziebell

Jockey: Chris Parnham | Trainer: Luke Fernie

Nice barrier and should be able to posy up close to the lead. Quick enough to lead here and racing solidly. Last start battled on well for second to False Statement Belmont 1000m May 27 after leading into the straight.

Top 4 Tip – Prim and Proper

Jockey: Beaux Bonavic-Edwards | Trainer: Lou Liciano

Two wins and three placings past five starts suggest she will again figure in the finish with luck in running. Nothing wrong with her second to Santiago Belmond 1000m May 8 when she made up good ground at the finish.

Belmont Race 5 Tips | 2:37 PM | 1400m

Top Tip – Laverrod

Jockey: Pat Carbery | Trainer: Sean & Jake Casey

Race fitness tips me into the up-and-coming Laverrod here over another smart three-year-old Kay Cee who is resuming. Laverrod looked strong in winning Ascot 1000m March 7 and as a 1400m winner looks hard to beat.

Place Tip – Kay Cee

Jockey: Steven Parnham | Trainer: Neville Parnham

Looms as the big danger and comes into this off two good barrier trial wins suggesting he is forward enough for the 1400m first-up. Put away after he stylish Kingston Town win from Gailo Chop Ascot 1800m last December. Extra smart.

Top 4 Tip – Platinum Bullet

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Simon Miller

Drawn a nice alley and has William Pike in the saddle, two good reasons to suggest a solid run. Too good for Denim Pack three runs back Ascot 2020m and not disgraced with 6th of 16 to unsuitable Belmont 1200m on May 23 when 13th on the turn.

Belmont Race 6 Tips | 3:10 PM | 1200m

Top Tip – Sir Mambo

Jockey: Jarrad Noske | Trainer: Martin Allen

Strong effort behind smart customer Showmanship Belmont 1200m May 23 coming off a win over Round the Point and Wakan Tankan Ascot 1100m May 2. Right in this.

Place Tip – Massimo

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Adam Durant

Looks one of the hardest to beat judging on his close second to Luke’s Gold Belmont 1400m (72+) May 23 after similar placing 1200m Ascot May 9. Will be right in the finish.

Top 4 Tip – Luke’s Gold

Jockey: Chris Nichols | Trainer: Roy Rogers

Has sound claims based on recent solid form. Has struck a good vein of form and liked his last win Belmont 1400m beating Massimo with strong finishing burst. Don’t leave out of exotics.

Belmont Race 7 Tips | 3:40 PM | 1000m

Top Tip – Son of a God

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Simon Miller

Outstanding sprinter who is lining up for 5th straight win. Has had interest from Hong Kong and building quite a reputation Registered 4th straight win Ascot 1200m on March 4 and given a freshen up. Can lead or sit off the pace and looks too good for these despite class rise.

Place Tip – We’ve Got Dreams

Jockey: Kyla Yull | Trainer: Michael Lane

Smart type and has four wins from past five starts so well up to this. Back to best with last start 100m win Ascot May 16 and wrapped up 2019 with three straight wins November/December.

Top 4 Tip – Wanna Be Good

Jockey: Lucy Warwick | Trainer: Lidnsey Smith

Doesn’t win often but is a professional placegetter. Placed for the 10th time in his career with 3rd to False Statement Belmont 1000m on May 7. Got home hard last start.

Belmont Race 8 Tips | 4:15 PM | 1400m

Top Tip – Showmanship

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Grant & Alan Williams

Meets a very smart one here in Resortman and will probably have to come from behind to claim victory. Produced strong finish last start to round up his rivals Belmonth 1200m (60+) May 23. Pike will have to keep a close eye on Resortman.

Place Tip – Resortman

Jockey: Kyra Hull | Trainer: Michael Lane

Extra smart and looks the testing material. Very little between these two exciting gallopers and tactics will play a part. Is unbeaten in three runs and really liked how he went to the line to win Belmont 1400m on May 23. Great chance.

Top 4 Tip – Moschard

Jockey: Ms Jade McNaught | Trainer: Peter Fernie

Has his share of weight but could run into a place with Jade McNaught on top. Last start 4th to Luke’s Gold 1400m Belmont May 23 after winning Ascot 1400m May 3.

Belmont Race 9 Tips | 4:47 PM | 1300m

Top Tip – Western Pride

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Adam Durant

Gifted galloper yet to taste defeat in three starts before being injured. Now under the care of Adam Durant and having her first start for almost 12 months. Won first three May-June last year and has not been knocked around in a few recent trials. If she is right, she wins.

Place Tip – Zephyr Queen

Jockey: Ms Chloe Azzopardi | Trainer: Jim Taylor

Has plenty of toe and capable of dictating if left alone. 2nd to Bruce Almighty Ascot 1400m then led and kept going to win Belmont 1300m May 27 beating Beat the Bell and Turbo Power.

Top 4 Tip – No Apology

Jockey: Paul Harvey | Trainer: Simon Miller

Has to overcome awkward alley but looks a good place hope. Backed up nice trial run with solid 4th to the smart Showmanship Belmont 1200 May 23. No surprise if he wins here.
