Flemington Race 1 Tips | 11:35 AM | 1000m

Top Tip – Prezado

Jockey: Craig Williams | Trainer: Mathew Ellerton & Simon Zahra

Is a winner of four races at this trip down the Flemington straight and now searching for the hat-trick after two recent wins at it. Handles wet and dry ground and no problem with the weight, Go well.

Place Tip – Kenyan Wonder

Jockey: Damien Thornton | Trainer: Ryan Balfour

Big mare who is having its first try down the Flemington straight, Unplaced in Group races in Adelaide lately when drawn and caught wide. Wasn’t disgraced. Chance at long odds.

Top 4 Tip – Parwan Prince

Jockey: Jade Darose | Trainer: Jade Derose

Resuming. Hasn’t raced since October but is a winner at this trip here and missed a place just once when first up after eight tries. Another likely to be long odds who can run a good race.

Flemington Race 2 Tips | 12:10 PM | 1100m

Top Tip – Pocket Goddess

Jockey: Daniel Stackhouse | Trainer: David and Ben Hayes & Tom Dabernig

Well bred filly who produced a good effort on debut at Warrnambool when did things right but outsprinted late. Rising 100m in distance which suits as could a dryer track than heavy.

Place Tip – Devine Caprice

Jockey: Craig Williams | Trainer: David & Ben Hayes & Tom Dabernig

The only one in the race who has won down the Flemington straight and that was at1000m. Moves up to 1100m for the first time which is okay but the 61kg the test. Must include.

Top 4 Tip – Safeeya

Jockey: Michael Dee | Trainer: Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr

Unplaced on debut in Listed Merson Cooper at Sandown Hillside 1000m Nov 16. Ran on okay late. Not seen since. Extra 100m suits and likely to have improved over the break. Take seriously.

Flemington Race 3 Tips | 12:45 PM | 2000m

Top Tip – Coolth

Jockey: Damien Oliver | Trainer: Tony & Calvin McEvoy

Scored a last to first win at Murray Bridge May 23 1600m. May them look second rate and won running away. Up in distance and weight but one who is on the up and has Oliver to help.

Place Tip – Highland Jakk

Jockey: Craig Williams | Trainer: Robert Hickmott

Got close Flemington May 23 at 2000m when worked home solidly. May not have appreciated the heavy track and a better rated track here likely to suit. Is strong and drawn to get a gun run.

Top 4 Tip – Art Heiress

Jockey: Tahlia Hope (a) | Trainer: Patrick Payne

Was well backed and hit the line strongly at Cranboune 1600m May 22 at second race start. Was full of running and bred to get the extra distance here. Long odds but can run a decent race.

Flemington Race 4 Tips | 1:25 PM | 1400m

Top Tip – I Could Do Better

Jockey: Damien Oliver | Trainer: Chris Waller

UK import having its first start in Australia. All its wins have been at 1400m and won both first up starts in the past. The engagement of Damien Oliver suggests its ready to go and hardly a black type race here. Good odds. Take seriously

Place Tip – Never Again

Jockey: Clinton McDonald | Trainer: Jye McNeil

Was never in the picture when flopped at Caufield May 30 but found the 1100m way too short only starting to warm up very late. Up to 1400m here and has placed at the trip at this venue in the past.

Top 4 Tip – Simply Optimistic

Jockey: Regan Bayliss | Trainer: Brendon Hawtin

Gets back in the field but can finish off strongly as it did a Sandown-Lakeside May 24 when placed. Will get a smother on the fence and look for it late.

Flemington Race 5 Tips | 2:05 PM | 1400m

Top Tip – Kings Brooke

Jockey: Lewis German (a3) | Trainer: Peter Moody

Hit the front but swamped late when unplaced at 1600m Flemington Apr 25. Back to 1400m where it won three races and likes Flemington. German’s claim puts it in the weight ball game. Go well.

Place Tip – Supre

Jockey: Dwayne Dunn | Trainer: Lloyd Kennewell

Didn’t have much room in the straight when midfield Flemington 1800m May 23 on heavy ground. Back into its distance winning range here and dryer track can help. Look for it late.

Top 4 Tip – Shahzade

Jockey: Jye McNeil | Trainer: Anthony Freedman

Well-bred lightly-raced mare who has changed stables a few times but starting to do well. Finished on well at Ballarat May 20. Handles wet and dry ground and drawn to get a smother and finish on late.

Flemington Race 6 Tips | 2:45 PM | 2520m

Top Tip – Masaff

Jockey: Craig Williams | Trainer: Chris Waller

Excellent run here May 23 Flemington 1800m when settled last and finish hard to place. Drawn to settle closer and has placed at 2600m in Ireland. Tough to hold out.

Place Tip – Sin to Win

Jockey: Damien Oliver | Trainer: David & Ben Hayes & Tom Dabernig

Had too much weight when unplaced but not far away Flemington May 23. No problems with the trip and getting Oliver here from a good draw. Right in it.

Top 4 Tip – Sasko

Jockey: Michael Poy (a) | Trainer: Matt Cumani

Led all the way at its past two starts including Flemington May 23 2500m beating many in this home. Drops a 1kg for that win. The wetter the better. Eachway

Flemington Race 7 Tips | 3:23 PM | 1800m

Top Tip – Savaheat

Jockey: Lewis German (a,3) | Trainer: Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr.

Carried 58.5kg to victory Flemington 1800m May 23 when back and wide but still too good beating many in this home. Has half a kilo less after German’s claim take holding out.

Place Tip – Southern Rock

Jockey: Jordan Childs | Trainer: Archie Alexander

Had to work to get to the lead and not far away at the end in Flemington 1800m May 23 race won by Savaheat. Better draw can see it lead without that work and a dryer track than heavy can play into its favour

Top 4 Tip – Nobu

Jockey: Craig Williams | Trainer: Chris Waller

Was doing its best work late in the race won by Savaheat Flemington May 23 after settling a long way back. Could settle closer up here and a dryer track than heavy will also suit. Williams sticks. Right in it.

Flemington Race 8 Tips | 4:00 PM | 1400m

Top Tip – Rox the Castle

Jockey: Jack Martin | Trainer: Kerry Edwards

Up on the speed when long odds but not far away late 1200m Flemington May 23. Fitter for the effort and better at 1400m here. Drawn to get a gun run. And decent chance in an open race.

Place Tip – Vassilator

Jockey: Craig Williams | Trainer: Colin Little

Doesn’t win out of turn but both its wins have been at 1400m at Flemington. Ran on strongly at the trip here May 16 when close up. Williams sticks with him and must be respected

Top 4 Tip – Iconoclasm

Jockey: Damien Oliver | Trainer: Danny O’brien

Goes well at this track and trip as seen by its Flemington win May 23 when finished too well for rivals. Has to carry 61.5kg which is the worry but Oliver on to help. Wouldn’t rule out.

Flemington Race 9 Tips | 4:30 PM | 1400m

Top Tip – Kuramae

Jockey: Dean Yendall | Trainer: Matthew Williams

Was doing its best work late in a similar race Flemington 1400m May 23. Drawn wide here and likely to get back again but likes the 1400m at this track and could take it late.

Place Tip – Triton Rising

Jockey: Jamie Mott | Trainer: David & Ben Hayes & Tom Dabernig

Looks to have come back from a break stronger and liked its first up win Pakenham May 14 1100m, Up to 1400m here which should suit., One on the up. Can win.

Top 4 Tip – Li’l Kontra

Jockey: Jessica Eaton (a2) | Trainer: Ryan Balfour

Has been racing in much better fields but tackling 1400m for the first time. Eaton’s claim puts it in the race for sure and can get a cosy run from barrier four. Can win if it runs the trip.
