The Australian Super Rugby competition continues this week with round 2, all be it with some venue changes. To kick things off we have the Rebels playing the Reds in Sydney, which was meant to be a Rebels home game. Both teams are looking for more consistency with their footy and it will be a close game with two evenly matched teams. We then have the Western Force playing their first Super Rugby game in over 3 years against a Waratahs team full of young, new faces looking to cement their position in the team. Check out our Australian Super Rugby betting previews and tips for each game below.

Super Rugby Austraia Tips – Friday July 10
Rebels v Reds
Venue: AAMI Park – Melbourne | Start: 7:05 PM
This will be a tight contest from two teams that are still trying to get some momentum going with a few wins. The game will be played at Brookvale Oval at 7 pm on Friday. The Rebels did not look bad against the more experienced roster of the Brumbies last week and will be favourites for this match, only just. The Rebels have won both games as well as covered the line in two of their three games as the favourite.
The Reds managed to get another win last week against the Waratahs in a bruising encounter and will be full of confidence this week. Winning on the road has been a concern for the Reds in recent times. This will be a close game decided by less than 5 points so the odds from the bookies look right with the head to head prices.
Super Rugby Austraia Tips – Saturday July 11
Waratahs v Western Force
Venue: SCG – Sydney | Start: 7:05 PM
The Western Force are back this week with their first game against the Waratahs to be played at the SCG on Saturday at 7:15 pm. This is their first Super Rugby game since 2017. Expect them to start hard and fast which will result in a tight first half. Do they have the player roster to go the full 80 minutes though?
The Waratahs will be hurting after last weeks tight loss to the Reds. They turned in a solid performance for a team with a lot of new faces. The new combinations are looking good in the backline and they will improve as the season goes on. The bookies have the Force as slight favourites but we think it will be the Waratahs winning easily after a tight first half.
