Belmont Race 1 Tips | 12:11 PM | 1200m
Top Tip – CLAIRVOYANCE
Jockey: Chris Parnham | Trainer: Darren McAuliffe
Plenty to like about his debut win over All Day Sessions and Mischievous Diva Belmont 1000m on July 11. Showed natural gate speed and was far too strong at the finish. Can make it two from two and should be able work across into the lead without too much trouble.
Place Tip – Our Boy Dylan
Jockey: Jospeph Azzopardi | Trainer: Neville Parker
So Secret gelding who has won three barrier trials. Two starts back beat the White Witch in Ascot 1000m on March 28 before sixth in similar 1000m dash Ascot in April. Very Easy winner Lake Hill trial 950m July 13 suggests he is rady for a first-up tilt.
Top 4 Tip – Choice Bid
Jockey: Steve Parnham | Trainer: Neville Parnham
Has an outside alley to contend but does have early speed. Stuck on ok when second to Continuance in Belmont 1000m soft track July 8. Sure to be improved by that run and not without a chance at each way odds here.
Belmont Race 2 Tips | 12:51 PM | 1000m
Top Tip – Sir Mambo
Jockey: Peter Knuckey | Trainer: Martin Allan
Looks to have found a very suitable race after competing well against better opposition recently.Has a second to Showmanship over 1200m in Mayand a second to Son of God two starts back on June 20 over the Belmont 1200m course. Take a power of beating in this easier race.
Place Tip – She’s Vital
Jockey: Jade McNaught | Trainer: Fanella Martin
Racing in good form and placed third past two Belmont starts latest behind Flower of Scotland 1000m June 24. Tends to get a little in her races but should be doing her best work at the business end of proceedings here.
Top 4 Tip – Smigel
Jockey: William PIke | Trainer: Lou Luciani
Chance in an open race, especially The Wizard on top. Beat River Beau and At War in Ascot 1000m dash back in March and can improve on disappointing 8th to Gunflint Belmont 1000m on July 8.
Belmont Race 3 Tips | 1:31 PM | 1000m
Top Tip – Indian Pacific
Jockey: Brad Parnham | Trainer: Nev Parnham
Looks to have the wood on his rivals here and should be greeting the judge first again which he has done in four of his six career starts. Did a great job to finish third to Long Beach and Nerodio Belmont 1200m July 4. Did all the chasing and only got tired in last little bit. Won previous three and should be winning.
Place Tip – Fire and Rain
Jockey: Craig Staples | Trainer: Paul Jordan
Likes this distance and track and races well when runs are spaced. Good enough effort when to Essential Spice Belmont 1200m July 11 after 2nd to Cryptic Love Belmont 12oom on June 20. Each
Top 4 Tip – Cryptic Love
Jockey: Joseph Azzopardi | Trainer: David Harrison
Beat Fire and Rain home here two starts back when victorious in a Belmont 1000m sprint June 20 but could repeat the effort last start fading to finish to Windstorm in tough Belmont 1200m July 11. Can forgive last run and this looks easier assignment.
Belmont Race 4 Tips | 2:08 PM | 1000m
Top Tip – Sea Waif
Jockey: Jade McNaught | Trainer: Brett Pope
Prepared to overlook her last start 6th to Great Heist Pinjarra 1200m on July 9 and go on her solid win in her Pinjarra Maiden over 1300m when she displayed good early speed and kicked on. This is not overly hard. Has the inside alley and could represent good each way value.
Place Tip – Bedouin Belle
Jockey: William PIke | Trainer: Lou Luciano
Has been around the money in a few starts since winning Ascot 1100m on March 7. Last start was solid third to Gunflint and Alcina Belmont 1000m July 8 when race on the pace. This is not overly strong so has to have some claims.
Top 4 Tip – Pearls and Prawns
Jockey: Ben Patterson | Trainer: Brock Lewthwaite
Has a wide barrier to contend with but form suggests she races close enough to the speed to slot in early. Nice enough effort when beat all but Pacific Pro Northam 1100m on July 16. Just needs some luck in running early.
Belmont Race 5 Tips | 2:40 PM | 2200m
Top Tip – Roman Flirt
Jockey: Chris Parnham | Trainer: Daniel & Ben Pearce
Highly consistent galloper who has only finished out of a place twice in his 12 starts including four wins. Makes strong appeal on last start second to Fancy Fox Belmont 2000m July 11. Won four straight prior and will give a great sight again.
Place Tip – Truly Great
Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Grant & Alana Williams
Looks the big threat after pushing the smart Puckapunyal Belmont 1600m July 18. Turned in an enormous effort after being well back early and working home strongly. Fitter now following two starts since a spell and looks perfectly placed here to return to the winner’s circle.
Top 4 Tip – British Bessy
Jockey: Alan Kennedy | Trainer: Sharon Miller
Not saluted the judge since December 2019 but this is not a tough race and could return to the winner’s list here. Didn’t appear to have much luck last start when 6th to Sentimental Gift Belmont 2000m July 18. Getting back to best.
Belmont Race 6 Tips | 3:20 PM | 1300m
Top Tip – Levitate
Jockey: Chloe Azzopardi | Trainer: Simon Miller
Improving type and he just may have experience over Giant Leap here. Far too good for Seminol Brave last start Belmont 1200m July 11 after enjoying a good run. Runner-up to the Indian Pacific here two runs back and that is good enough to win this.
Place Tip – Giant Leap
Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Grant & Alana Williams
Aptly named as this Iffraa 3-y-o will have to make the leap from a maiden over 1400m at Pinjarra on July 9 to a smart city class race here. Having he said that he did show signs of being above average and did display a good turn of foot in his win. Raw but talented.
Top 4 Tip – Seminole Brave
Jockey: Shaun O’Donnell | Trainer: Gino Poletti
Only beaten once in three starts and that most recent run when 2nd to Levitate Belmont 1200m July 7. Before that won Belmont and Pinjarra at only other starts. Was well beaten by Levitate last start but is slightly better off at the weights and is nicely drawn in gate 3.
Belmont Race 7 Tips | 3:55 PM | 1200m
Top Tip – Zamizdat
Jockey: Jarrad Noske | Trainer: Chris Gangemi
More than willing to give this galloper another chance in this type of race. On face value was disappointing when 8th to Essential Spice Belmont 1000m July 11.That was his second run back from a long spell and if he finds his best form will give this a shake. Is a winner of 5 of his 10 starts, three of them over this trip.
Place Tip – Red Man Can
Jockey: Peter Knuckey | Trainer: Steve Wolfe
Likes the track, goes well over the distance and has a better than 50 percent winning strike rate. Very smart and won three straight last campaign. Coming off a short break but cantered home in Lark Hill barrier trial 950m July 16. Ready win.
Top 4 Tip – Cup Night
Jockey: Patrick Carbery | Trainer: Bernie Miller
Another with a great strike rate winning 9 of 18 starts and has barrier trialed well recently. Easy won over Don’s Legacy in Lark Hill trial 950m soft track July 13.Goes well first up, likes the track and has won over the distance. Plenty of ticks.
Belmont Race 8 Tips | 4:30 PM | 1400m
Top Tip – Serenity Bay
Jockey: Chris Parnham | Trainer: Grant & Alana Williams
Gone for this fellow because he has a nice weight and may get the last crack. Four wins and five placing from 9 starts tells you how honest this Rogano mare is. Will take a nice trailing spot from gate six and could improve on her last start 3rd to Resistance and Fred Dag Belmont 1600m July 4. Will be each way odds.
Place Tip – Inspirational Girl
Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Grant & Alana Williams
The more fancied of the Williams’ stablemates and has the services of William “The Wizard” Pike which counts for plenty with punters. Very smart and made it three in a row when resuming and comfortable winner Belmont 1400m July 11. She is two from two second up so assume she will take a power of beating.
Top 4 Tip – Massimo
Jockey: Maddi Derrick | Trainer: Adam Durrant
Smart type and connections have wisely gone for a 3kg claiming apprentice to help offset the 60kg weight. Carried 55.5kgs to win Belmont 1200m July 18. Like we said has a claiming apprentice so only goes up 1.5kg on that effort.
Belmont Race 9 Tips | 5:05 PM | 1400m
Top Tip – Aberdeen Queen
Jockey: Jarrad Noske | Trainer: Lindsey Smith
Four wins from past six starts will do me for this kind of race. Too good for Moderator Belmont 1650m soft going July 1 and then found Bombay Style a little too good Belmont 1600m July 11. Has to contend with a wide but could be coming hard late.
Place Tip – Position of Power
Jockey: Chris Parnham | Trainer: David Harrison
Has the right form and gets weight relief with Chris Parnham’s 3kgs city claim. Lining up for a hat-trick after Belmont wins June 27 and July 15 both over 1400m. LIke they say, winning for is good form and no reason why this Scandal Keeper 4-y-o can’t chalk up another win.
Top 4 Tip – Devoted Star
Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Grant and Alana Williams
Tends to get back in his races so he needs a bit of luck but has plenty of ability. Forget his 10th to Levitate Belmont 1200m, July 11 when he never got into the race. Easy winner 100m Belmont previous start. Needs a touch of luck but win would not surprise.
