Belmont Race 1 Tips | 12:16 PM | 1200m

Top Tip – Goodbyefeds

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Lou Luciano

Sessions gelding who savaged the line when a charging fourth Belmont 1000m on July 18. William Pike jumps into the saddle and from his nice alley should get a cosy run and be poised to strike on straightening. Ready to break maiden status.

Place Tip – Petite La Femme

Jockey: Jade McNaught | Trainer: Chris Willis

Comfortably beaten last start when 6th to Warbler in Belmont Mdn 1000 July 18. Prefer to assess her on previous strong finishing second to Dune Messiah in Belmont 1000m Mdn on July 8 when she rattled home late.

Top 4 Tip – Sound Awake

Jockey: Chloe Azzarpardi | Trainer: Bruce Hyde

Two placings from three starts keeps this lightly raced Patronize mare under notice. Has two Belmont placings over 1000m and 1200m to recommend and there is no reason why she can’t be right in the finish here.

Belmont Race 2 Tips | 12:56 PM | 1000m

Top Tip – Panzdown

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Simon Miller

William Pike has done this to bookies many times over the years pulling their pants down and he could do it again on this aptly named Panzer Division gelding who was quite impressive in winning on debut at short odds over 1000m at Belmont on July 17. Won with a bit of authority last start and looms as the one to beat again.

Place Tip – Clairvoyance

Jockey: Chris Parnham | Trainer: Darren McAuliffe

Scratched last week from Belmont but has obviously recovered and ready to make it two-in-a-row. Has speed and could easily lead from inside gate. Led throughout to win at only outing Belmont 1000m July 11 beating All Day Session. Serious threat.

Top 4 Tip – Starfield Impact

Jockey: Jason Whiting | Trainer: Mike Santich

Don’t underestimate this talented Demerit filly even with her 60kg impost. She logged 3 wins and three placings from her two-year-old campaign and is more than capable of winning this fresh. Comfortable Belmont 1400m trial winner suggests she has been set for a first-up hit.

Belmont Race 3 Tips | 1:36 PM | 2100m

Top Tip – Burning Pride

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Holly Taylor

I am on the Pike bandwagon again but this guy runs his best races for The Wizard having saluted the judge six times with him in the pigskin. In fact this galloper has never won without Pike on board. Found Sentimental Gift too strong last start over 200m here on July 17. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and ready to break back into the winner’s list here.

Place Tip – Marocchino

Jockey: Jason Whiting | Trainer: Lou Luciano

Makes plenty of appeal here after racing in strong company. Placed third to boom filly Chantrea Belmont Classic 2200m last start and looks nicely weighted here with 54.5kg from gate three. Should get a gun run and will be very hard to hold out.

Top 4 Tip – Gangbuster

Jockey: Laqdar Ramoly (3kg) | Trainer: Luke Femie

The trainer has gone for a three kilo claiming apprentice here and will appreciate the weight relief. You have to go back to September last year to find his last win which was in the Kalgoorlie Builders Cup over 2111m. Could get into a place at nice odds.

Belmont Race 4 Tips | 2:13 PM | 1600m

Top Tip – Not to Be Mist

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Adam Durant

Has been costly for punters but deserves one more chance in this race. Wasn’t Pike’s best ride when finished too late for 3rd to Wrinkly and Jeraft after conceding the leaders too much start from the turn. He worked home very nicely though and this does look a suitable race for him after three straight placings.

Place Tip – Fred Dag

Jockey: Jason Whiting | Trainer: Bruce Watkins

Honest gelding who is usually around the money. Likes this journey and after second placing to Resistance Belmont 1600m July 4 battled on solidly for 4th to Wrinkly (Not to be Mist 3rd) in Belmont 1600m July 17. Chance.

Top 4 Tip – Mankind

Jockey: Jade McNaught | Trainer: Hayden Ballantyne

Has run three reasonable races without threatening since winning Belmont 1200m in June. Not beaten all that far behind Red Can Man Belmont 1200 July 25. On trial at 1600m but may appreciate longer trip.

Belmont Race 5 Tips | 2:55 PM | 1300m

Top Tip – Serenity Bay

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Grant & Alana Williams

It’s hard not to tip William Pike when he is on a good horse and Serenity Bay is just that. Has five wins from 10 starts and two of his three trips over this distance have been wins. Ran honest third to Inspirational Girl and Massimo last start Belmont 1400m July 25 and will be right in the mix again for sure.

Place Tip – Position of Power

Jockey: Chris Graham | Trainer: David Harrison

Trainer has opted for a 3kg claiming apprentice and looks pretty well placed at the weight for a horse is racing so consistently. Won Belmont double 1400m June-July and nothing wrong with last start 2nd to Put A Spell on You over same course on July 25. Can win again.

Top 4 Tip – Beautiful Mind

Jockey: Lucy Warwick | Trainer: Lindsey Smith

Has ability and not without and each way showing. Resumed with 9th to Windstorm Belmont 1200m July 11 at $51. Improved by the run and won the Jungle Dawn at Ascot over 1400m in December. Improver.

Belmont Race 6 Tips | 3:25 PM | 1200m

Top Tip – Dark Mission

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Grant & Alana Williams

I know, Pike again!! Seriously how do you not tip this Dark Miss mare after her barnstorming win over 1200m at Belmont on July 15 when she was resuming. Ran good time last start and unbeaten this track and distance.

Place Tip – Rewrite The Stars

Jockey: Chris Parnham | Trainer: Darren McAuliffe

Ticks plenty of boxes and shooting for a hat-trick here following wins a Belmont 1300m June 24 beating Sweet Strawberry and Pinjarra 1200m July 9 on soft track. Will race handy to the speed.

Top 4 Tip – False Statement

Jockey: Madi Derrick (3kg) | Trainer: Tiarna Robertson

Has a handy strike rate winning four of 14 starts. varried 59kgs last start with Derick’s claim and fought on well to beat Expressionist Belmont 1200m on July 15. Similarly weight here but could get into a place without surprising.

Belmont Race 7 Tips | 4:00 PM | 1000m

Top Tip – Essential Spice

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: Daniel and Ben Pearce

This is getting embarrassing and you almost want to tip something other than a William Pike mount to win. But this 4 year0old Gingerbread mare does not know how to rub a bad race and has missed a place only three times in her 18 race career and won six times. Last start too strong for Saracino and Mervyn Belmont 1000m July 11. Flow beat her last time they met and she meets him slightly worse of at the weights.

Place Tip – Jericho Missile

Jockey: Joseph Azzopardi | Trainer: David Harrison

Winner three of his 10 starts (two seconds). Resumed with a fair 6th to Massimo Belmont 1200m July 18 at second run back from a spell.. Won a Listed 1200m race over 1200m at Ascot beating Special Choice and on that form rates a chance here.

Top 4 Tip – Floyd

Jockey: Jarrad Noske | Trainer: Chris & Michael Gangemi

Nice type and has the right hoop in the saddle. Winner two of his past three starts and has to be considered here. Won Belmont 1000m trial recently and when last in work strong win Ascot 1400m March 28. In with a chance.

Belmont Race 8 Tips | 4:35 PM | 1000m

Top Tip – Silkinize

Jockey: William Pike | Trainer: David Harrison

It is too late to stop now and this could be a fabulous day for William Pike. Turned in a eye-catching run when 2nd to Long Beach Belmont 1000m on July 18 when he got lost early. With Pike in the saddle you would expect him to race a little more forward and should be getting home hard in final 100 metres.

Place Tip – Cliffs of Comfort

Jockey: Joseph Azzopardi | Trainer: Daniel & Ben Pearce

Azzopardi rode Silkinize last start but has stuck with this smart conveyance who is resuming but did run 2nd to Free Trade in Belmont 1000m July 20 when not pushed out. Won his three previous starts and will lead this field for a long way here. Big threat.

Top 4 Tip – Badge of Courage

Jockey: Mitchell Pateman | Trainer: Luke Fernie

One for the exotics. Ran a surprising good race when runner-up to Indian Pacific Belmont 1000m on July 25. Season sprinter with nine wins and goes ok this track and distance.

Belmont Race 9 Tips | 5:10 PM | 1600m

Top Tip – Bombay Style

Jockey: Mitchell Pateman | Trainer: Tiarna Robertson

Winning for is good form and can’t knock this fellows last two wins at at Belmont (1650m) July 1 and (1600m) July 11. He is 3 from 6 this track and 2 from 3 over this trip. Looks hard to beat in open race.

Place Tip – Montelena

Jockey: Chris Parnham | Trainer: Darren McAuliffe

Fitter for two nice runs back from a spell and this looks a nice race for this three-year-old filly. Ran a respectable last start 4th to Zero Demerits Belmont 1400m July 4. This filly has some talent and I can see her getting a nice run just off the speed and launching at the right time.

Top 4 Tip – Aconite

Jockey: Lqdar Ramoly (3kg) | Trainer: Brett Pope

This mare is usually around the money without winning too often (4-28). Have to give her a good each way chance on her last start fourth to Pukapunyal Belmont 1600m July 18. Will need some luck but not the worst by any means.
