PACKERS VS FALCONS
Lambeau Field | 11:15 am (AEST)
Davante Adams is a game-time decision and the Packers are a touchdown favorite over the winless Falcons despite the uncertainty. Julio Jones (hamstring) and Calvin Ridley are also iffy for the Falcons on what is shaping up to be a brisk night at Lambeau Field. Adams’ return would be timely as the Packers have become heavily reliant upon Aaron Jones. The running back has emerged as the central figure alongside Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay’s attack. Without a serious pass-rushing threat, it could be another big night for Rodgers. He’s on a mission to elevate the Packers into the contenders conversation and admits he is getting a bit of energy from Green Bay drafting quarterback Jordan Love in the first round. The Falcons have yet to see the boost to their rushing game from Todd Gurley. Atlanta’s offensive line remains a work in progress and a weakness Green Bay will attack off the edges. The Packers are thin at wide receiver, even with Adams, after Allen Lazard landed on injured reserve on the heels of his breakout game. Deep threat Marquez Valdes-Scantling could be in line for extra targets but his hands have been a problem with key drops in Week 1 and Week 3.
