English Premier League Tipping – Saturday, October 24

West Ham v Manchester City

London Stadium, London | 10:30 PM (AEST)

City open as very commanding $1.36 favourites here, with the Draw at $5 and West Ham out at $7.50.

Although they do have a game in hand, City currently sits in 11th place with 7 points and a neutral goal difference. West Ham is slightly ahead of their opponents, also on 7 points but with a superior goal difference.

While I would favour them to win, I’m not sure the $1.36 on offer is great value for City given their myriad of injuries. Instead, I’ll slightly lean towards the $5 draw, coupled with the West Ham +1 handicap at $3.10.

Draw/Draw at $9.50 and West Ham/Draw at $20 are both intriguing roughie options in the half-time/full-time market.

On the side of the total, I think both sides get on the scoresheet here, but with the possibility of a 1-1, I won’t go over 2.5 goals.

In terms of an anytime goalscorer, it’s tough to look past the recently-fit Aguero.

EPL Betting Tips

Result: Draw
Handicap: West Ham +1
Half-Time/Full-Time: Draw/Draw
Both Teams to Score: Yes
Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Under
Anytime Goalscorer: Aguero

Fullham v Crystal Palace

Craven Cottage, London | 1:00 AM (AEST)

Fulham open as very narrow $2.75 favourites here, with Palace at $2.80 and the Draw out at $3. This is despite Fulham still being rooted to the bottom of the table, with just 1 point from their 5 games.
Palace are doing a little better in 14th place, sitting on 7 points with 2 wins and a draw so far.

I’m not sure Fulham should be favoured over anyone right now and I like the look of this underdog Palace side. Palace/Palace at $4.50 and Draw/Palace at $6.50 look like the best half-time/full-time options.
I can see them securing a narrow 1-0 or 2-0 win here, with Palace to win to nil at $4.33 looking especially tempting.

What I don’t expect is a high-scoring and free-flowing game here, so I’d lean towards both under 2.5 goals and ‘no’ in the BTTS market. Wilfried Zaha looks like the best value in the anytime goalscorer market.

EPL Betting Tips

Result: Palace
Handicap: Palace +1
Half-Time/Full-Time: Palace/Palace
Both Teams to Score: No
Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Under
Anytime Goalscorer: Zaha

Manchester United v Chelsea

Old Trafford, Manchester | 3:30 AM (AEST)

Manchester United open as $2.40 favourites here, with Chelsea at $2.90 and the Draw out at $3.50. It hasn’t been a great start for the Reds, who are now in 15th place with just 6 points.

Chelsea have also disappointed to start the campaign, managing just 8 points from their 5 games. I think these are two fairly evenly-matched sides here, and I like the look of the Draw here at $3.50.

A 1-1 result sticks out in the scorecast market at $7.50, although 2-1 either way wouldn’t be hugely surprising. Draw/Draw is probably the best half-time/full-time bet, paying out a generous $6.

Under 2.5 goals at $2.31 is probably +EV, although I do still expect both sides to get on the scoresheet. In terms of a goalscorer, penalty merchant Bruno Fernandes looks like a relatively safe bet.

EPL Betting Tips

Result: Draw
Handicap: Chelsea +1
Half-Time/Full-Time: Draw/Draw
Both Teams to Score: Yes
Over/Under 2.5 Goals: No
Anytime Goalscorer: Fernandes

Liverpool v Sheffield United

Anfield, Liverpool | 6:00 AM (AEST)

Liverpool is commanding $1.22 favourites here, with the Draw at $7 and Sheffield United way out at $13. The Reds have been good but not great to start the campaign, sitting in 4th place with 10 points so far.

Sheffield United have struggled to reach their heights of last season, now sitting 2nd from bottom with a single point. Even without Van Dijk, Liverpool should have more than enough to get the job done here and win relatively comfortably.

For a bit of extra value, I like Liverpool/Liverpool at $1.72 and Liverpool to win to nil at $2. 2-0 looks like a reasonable scorecast bet, meaning that under 2.5 goals and ‘no’ in the BTTS market are both also in play. In terms of a goalscorer, I’ll stick with the penalty theme and back Mo Salah here.

EPL Betting Tips

Result: Liverpool
Handicap: Draw
Half-Time/Full-Time: Liverpool/Liverpool
Both Teams to Score: No
Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Under
Anytime Goalscorer: Salah

English Premier League Tipping – Monday, October 26

Southampton v Everton

St. Mary’s Stadium, Southampton | 1:00 AM (AEST)

Everton open this clash as $2.40 road favourites, with Southampton at $2.80 and the Draw out at $3.40. The Toffees actually sit atop the table at this point, with 13 points from their 5 games.

Southampton have been a bit better of late, although they’re still in 12th place with just 7 points. This should be a big test for Everton, but it’s one that I expect them to ultimately pass. $2.40 for an outright win is decent value, as is Everton to win by exactly one goal at $4.20.

Everton/Everton at $4.20 and Draw/Everton at $6 are good half-time/full-time options in a game that I’m predicting to finish 2-1. On the side of the total of things, I see a bit of value in over 2.5 goals and BTTS. Given the form he’s been in, it’s tough to look past Calvert-Lewin as an anytime goalscorer.

EPL Betting Tips

Result: Everton
Handicap: Draw
Half-Time/Full-Time: Draw/Everton
Both Teams to Score: Yes
Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Over
Anytime Goalscorer: Calvert-Lewin

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Newcastle United

Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton | 3:30 AM (AEST)

Wolves are $1.70 favourites in this one, with the Draw at $3.40 and Newcastle the $5 outsiders. It has been a mixed bag for Wolves so far, but 3 wins from 5 games has them in 7th place.

Newcastle are slightly behind their opponents here, with their 7 points good for 13th in the table. Especially with no Europa League to hamper their preparations, I like Wolves to get the job done at home here.

I wouldn’t expect a high-scoring affair, but 1-0 at $6 and 2-0 at $7.50 look like decent scorecast options. Wolves winning to nil is a decent outright bet, as Wolves/Wolves at $2.70.

As I’m not expecting Newcastle to generate much up front, I like under 2.5 goals and ‘no’ in the BTTS market here. In terms of an anytime goalscorer, Raul Jimenez at $3.60 probably has the best chance here.

EPL Betting Tips

Result: Wolves
Handicap: Wolves -1
Half-Time/Full-Time: Wolves/Wolves
Both Teams to Score: No
Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Under
Anytime Goalscorer: Jimenez

Arsenal v Leicester City

Emirates Stadium, London | 6:15 AM (AEST)

Arsenal is $1.86 favourites for this one, with the Draw at $3.60 and Leicester out at $3.90. The Gunners have had a decent start to the campaign, currently sitting in the top 6 with 9 points.

This is admittedly just behind Leicester, who also have 9 points but have a slightly better goal difference. These sides are closer than the odds would suggest and I think there’s some value on Leicester here as such substantial underdogs.

I’ll take them at the +1 handicap here, with the Draw at $3.60 looking like the most likely result. In what should be a very tight game, Draw/Draw at $5.50 doesn’t look like a half-bad option.

I’ll opt for 1-1 in the scorecast here, taking BTTS and under 2.5 total goals in the process. Aubameyang and Vardy are the best value to get on the scoresheet for their respective sides.

EPL Betting Tips

Result: Draw
Handicap: Leicester +1
Half-Time/Full-Time: Draw/Draw
Both Teams to Score: Yes
Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Under
Anytime Goalscorer: Aubameyang/Vardy

English Premier League Tipping – Tuesday, October 27

Brighton & Hove Albion v West Bromwich Albion

Amex Stadium, Falmer | 4:30 AM (AEST)

Brighton are relatively comfortable $1.70 favourites here, with the Draw at $3.90 and West Brom out at $4.60. The Seagulls haven’t had a great start to the season, sitting in 16th place with just 4 points so far.

Things have been even worse for West Brom, who remain winless with just 2 points on the season. Overall, I think Brighton have the talent advantage here and should be able to do enough to get the win.

I wouldn’t expect it to be particularly flashy and win by exactly 1 goal at $3.50 stands out as great value.

The most likely results here appear to be 1-0 and 2-1, both currently at $8, and I’ll lean slightly towards the latter. With this in mind, over 2.5 goals and BTTS do offer some value at current odds. Neal Maupay has been a stud for Brighton so far and I’ll back him to get on the scoresheet here.

EPL Betting Tips

Result: Brighton
Handicap: Draw
Half-Time/Full-Time: Brighton/Brighton
Both Teams to Score: Yes
Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Over
Anytime Goalscorer: Maupay

Burnley v Tottenham Hotspur

Turf Moor, Burnley | 7:00 AM (AEST)

Tottenham opens as $1.57 road favourites here, with the Draw at $4.10 and Burnley at $5. Spurs have had a reasonable start to the season, securing 8 points and a favourable goal difference from 5 games.

Burnley have struggled mightily thus far, sitting in the bottom 3 with only a single point to their name. This is simply a game Spurs have to have right now and I’d expect them to get the job done here.

This is another game that shouldn’t be too pretty, but grinding out a 1 or 2-goal win does appear likely. Spurs by exactly 1 goal at $3.50 don’t look bad, nor does Spurs/Spurs at $2.50 odds.

Given Burnley’s offensive struggles, I’ll lean towards under 2.5 total goals and ‘no’ in the BTTS market. Harry Kane looks like the most likely to score here, but Son has some value as a roughie.

EPL Betting Tips

Result: Spurs
Handicap: Spurs -1
Half-Time/Full-Time: Spurs/Spurs
Both Teams to Score: No
Over/Under 2.5 Goals: Under
Anytime Goalscorer: Kane
