Arizona Cardinals v Seattle Seahawks
Lumen Field | 12:20 PM (AEST)
This will be the biggest game to date in the tough NFC West this season, with the Cardinals (6-3) and Seahawks (6-3) in a three-way tie for first with the Los Angeles Rams. It’s the second meeting between Arizona and Seattle this season. The Cardinals won 37-34 in overtime on Zane Gonzalez’s 48-yard field goal with 20 seconds remaining Oct. 25 in Glendale, Ariz. The Seahawks were undefeated going into that game but have dropped three of their past four, including two straight. Seattle QB Russell Wilson is 32-9 in his career following a loss and has never dropped three in a row. The Cardinals have won four of their past five, but this will be their first road trip in a month. Even without the “12th Man,” the Seahawks are 4-0 at home. The Cardinals, however, have won four of their past five trips to Seattle. Expect another shootout as both teams have injury issues on defense, the Cardinals on the line and the Seahawks in the secondary. Arizona leads the NFL with 425.5 total yards per game (the Seahawks are third at 405.9), while Seattle averages a league-leading 32.2 points. Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is on pace to become the first player in NFL history with 4,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing in a season. RB Carlos Hyde (hamstring) could return for the Seahawks, who have struggled on the ground with Chris Carson (mid-foot sprain) also out. Seattle is 9-1 in Thursday night games under coach Pete Carroll.
