The final round of the U.S. Women’s Open has been pushed back to Monday due to thunderstorms in Houston.
Sunday saw relentless rain wreak havoc at Champions Golf Club, where play was suspended after just over an hour of action.
Japanese golfer Hinako Shibuno leads the major by one stroke heading into the rescheduled finale.
Shibuno, 22, is eyeing her second major title, having won last year’s Women’s British Open.
The 75th #USWomensOpen will resume on Monday morning at 9 a.m. ET (8 a.m. local time in Houston).
