BENGALS VS STEELERS
Paul Brown Stadium | 12:15pm AEDT
The Pittsburgh Steelers look to break out of a two-game funk when they visit the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night. Pittsburgh (11-2) dropped consecutive games to the Washington Football Team and Buffalo Bills after rolling to 11 straight victories. The Steelers have scored under 20 points in three straight games and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger passed for 187 yards and two interceptions along with two touchdowns in the 26-15 loss to the Bills last week. Overall, Roethlisberger has passed for 3,292 yards and 29 touchdowns against nine interceptions. Linebacker T.J. Watt has a team-best 12 sacks and two of them came when the Steelers rolled to a 36-10 home win over the Bengals in Week 10. That win was Pittsburgh’s 11th straight over Cincinnati, counting one postseason triumph. The Bengals (2-10-1) are light years away from the postseason in 2020 and are fading fast down the stretch after losing quarterback Joe Burrow (knee). Brandon Allen passed for 506 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions as the fill-in starter over the past three games. Allen missed Thursday’s practice due to a knee injury, giving Ryan Finley more work in case he is needed to start. The Bengals, who allow 26 points per game, have just 15 sacks — only the Tennessee Titans (14) have fewer — and own a minus-10 turnover ratio due to 22 giveaways and 12 takeaways.
