Grizzlies guard Grayson Allen sustained a sprained left ankle during the second quarter of Memphis’ Wednesday road game against the Boston Celtics.

Allen was seen banging his fist on a nearby table as he limped toward the locker room. He was ruled out for the remainder of the contest at halftime.

The injury to Allen is the latest for the Grizzlies, who saw star Ja Morant exit a 116-111 overtime victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday with a Grade 2 left ankle sprain. The reigning NBA Rookie of the Year is expected to miss three to five weeks with that ailment.

Memphis is also playing without Jaren Jackson Jr. and Justise Winslow. Jackson, the fourth overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, is out indefinitely while recovering from surgery to repair the meniscus in his left knee. Winslow is sidelined due to a left hip injury.

Allen, 25, missed his lone shot from the floor Wednesday and finished without a point. He entered the game averaging 6.3 points and 3.3 rebounds this season.
