Golden State Warriors v San Antonio Spurs

AT&T Center | 12:30pm AEDT

For the second time in as many nights, the San Antonio Spurs will host the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday. The Spurs are looking for a quick two-game sweep after knocking off the Warriors 105-100 on Monday. It was the third win in a row for San Antonio, which also beat the Minnesota Timberwolves and Houston Rockets over the past week. The Spurs were led in Monday’s win by Dejounte Murray, who finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds to go along with a career-high eight steals. DeMar DeRozan added 21 points, 10 assists and six rebounds in the victory. Golden State will try to bounce back after losing for the third time in the past four games. Stephen Curry was predictably stellar with 32 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the opening game against the Spurs. Kelly Oubre Jr. supplied 24 points as a secondary option, but Andrew Wiggins was the only other player to score in double digits with 11 points. The teams also met on Jan. 20 with Golden State pulling away for a 121-99 victory. Curry led all scorers with 26 points on 10-for-17 shooting that night and Murray scored 22 to pace San Antonio.

Orlando Magic v Portland Trail Blazers

Moda Center | 2:00pm AEDT

The Portland Trail Blazers return home Tuesday to face the Orlando Magic feeling just fine about finishing 3-3 on a long road trip. The journey ended Sunday with a 110-99 defeat to the New York Knicks, but did include the return Damian Lillard, who missed a contest with an abdominal strain. Without Lillard on Friday, the Trail Blazers pulled off an optimism-building 121-105 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers, the leaders in the Eastern Conference. Portland still is awaiting the return of CJ McCollum (foot), Jusuf Nurkic (wrist) and Zach Collins (ankle), all of whom are out indefinitely. The Trail Blazers will play their next three at home before hitting the road again for six of their next seven. Nothing has gone right for the Magic since the start of the new year. They are 1-7 on the road since then and have lost 13 of their last 16 overall. Orlando enters off a split versus Chicago over the weekend, falling 118-92 on Saturday after a 123-119 victory Friday when Nikola Vucevic had a career-best 43 points. He had 17 points in the rematch. The Magic also have been short-handed. Evan Fournier (back spasms) missed Saturday’s game, and will sit Tuesday along with Aaron Gordon (ankle) and Jonathan Isaac (knee).

Vivint Smart Home Arena | 2:00pm AEDT

The Boston Celtics face a tall task in the finale of a five-game road trip when they face the streaking Utah Jazz, who are on a four-game winning streak and have won 15 of their last 16. The Jazz also have won nine consecutive home games and are returning to Utah after a 3-0 road trip. Donovan Mitchell scored 27 points, matched his career best of 11 assists and grabbed nine rebounds Sunday as the Jazz earned a 103-95 victory over the Indiana Pacers. Rudy Gobert added 16 points with 16 rebounds as Utah won without Mike Conley (hamstring), who will also sit out Tuesday. After making a franchise-best 26 3-pointers Friday against the Charlotte Hornets, the Jazz cooled off a bit with 13 against the Pacers. The Celtics are 2-2 on their road trip after a 100-91 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. Jayson Tatum had 23 points, while Kemba Walker had 14, but was just 4 of 20 from the field. Tatum is scoring 27.0 points per game this season and has scored at least 23 in each of last 12 contests. Boston again was without guards Jaylen Brown (knee) and Marcus Smart (calf) on Sunday but Brown is questionable to play against the Jazz.

Brooklyn Nets v Detroit Pistons

Little Caesars Arena | 11:00am AEDT

Kyrie Irving is expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday as the visiting Brooklyn Nets look to get back on track against the sputtering Detroit Pistons. Irving (sprained right finger) and Kevin Durant (health and safety protocols) did not play on Saturday as the Nets dropped a 124-108 decision to the host Philadelphia 76ers. James Harden recorded team-high totals in points (26), assists (10) and rebounds (eight) but Brooklyn sustained its second straight loss and third in its last four games. The Nets have lost six of 10 road contests this season and are in the midst of a stretch in which they play seven of eight games away from home. Detroit finds itself mired in its third four-game losing skid of the season following a 135-129 double-overtime setback at the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. Jerami Grant matched a season high with 32 points, although he hoisted 27 shots and went 3 of 11 from 3-point range. Josh Jackson added 25 of his season-high 28 points following halftime and Delon Wright made 8 of 10 shots to finish with 22 points for the Pistons. Wright totaled 26 points in his previous four games.
